"Endless Love" Review

The romantic and emotional movie, “Endless love” shows the powerful love between a shy and simple girl and a popular school boy. The movie transmits the viewers that despite all the difficulties their relationship has, love always wins.

To begin with, I believe the special effects and soundtrack were perfect. Firstly, the special effects made the viewers feel like they were inside the movie and secondly the soundtrack perfectly goes along with all the scenes and these special effects. Moreover, the actors were really great, making us empathize with what is happening throughout the movie.

In my view, the best aspect of the movie was the emotional message left to the viewers. It shows that in spite of the problems and journeys of a relationship, what it really matters is to love, and if love exists, it will always win.

As a conclusion, I would definitely recommend this movie, “Endless love”, as it is an emotional movie with great special effects, soundtrack, actors and a lovely message.

It is often claimed that teachers today are training their students to think positively as it will really bring them a lot of benefits in their lives, while they are childs or even adults. In this essay, I will discuss two of the most important benefits of training students to think positively: stress reduction and better productivity.

To begin with, one of the benefits of positive thinking is stress reduction. Firstly, it helps students to put problems into perspective, children often get angry or sad about everything, by thinking positivly it helps them to find a solution about these things and also to realize that there are worse things that could happen. In addition, it increases general well being. However, in some students, positive thinking will not be enough to combat stress. Maybe, they are going through a bad time and need more than thinking positively.

Moreover, better productivity is also a benefit of thinking positively. By thinking positively, student´s achievements will increase, because if they think that everything is going to work out, they will probably succeed. Furthermore, more efficient use of time means more time for leisure. If students think that everything will be wrong or they will not be able to achieve their objective, they will absolutely get stuck for a long time.

As a conclusion, I believe that stress reduction and better productivity are one of the most important benefits of thinking positively and teachers must continue training their students as it is important for life. However, in my opinion, stress reduction is better.

Young people's attitudes towards growing up 

Introduction

The principal aim of this report is to demonstrate young people's attitudes towards aging around the world. 

Current Situation

To begin with, I visited two schools in my neighbourhood and I interviewed  more than fifty students of the institutions. I asked them some questions about aging. However, what I most cared to know was how they feel towards older people and the prospect of growing old themselves.

Results

Nearly three quarters of the students, did not have their future plan, they did not know what to study at university or what job they would like to take on. A few minutes later, they confessed to me that they are afraid of growing up and become an adult with lots of responsabilities. In addition, students informed me that older people in the community are extremely important for them as they are their role model. 

Recommendations

Taking all the factors mentioned, I would like to help students not to be afraid of growing up, by giving some recommendations:

• Students should take a pen and a piece of paper and write how they want their future to be like. (career, having a partner or not, kids)
• Students could have a conversations with older people about this problem, they are suffering, as they might have suffered the same problem.
• Students should talk with their families and friends to have support with this problem. 

To conclude, I would like to recommend children not to be afraid of becoming older, as each stage is beautiful in life. 

Proposal

In the class of Writing, we were asked to write a proposal in connection to problems students have dealing with presentations.

Students Problem´s with presentations

Introduction

The principal aim of this proposal is to help students get better with presentations and stop having issues with presentations by giving some recommendations.

Current Situation

There exists a great quantity of students who do not feel comfortable at the time of a presentation. For instance, students tend to study for a presentation by heart without knowing what they are saying and they get stuck if they don´t remember a word. Moreover, a lot of students tend to get really nervous as a lot of people are listening to them.

Recommendations

I recommend teachers should help students to solve all the problems they have when dealing with presentations. I would make the following recommendations for students:
• Students should know and understand the topic they are talking about.
• I recommend students not to look at people as this may make them more nervous
• Students should record themselves
If students follow these recommendations they will absolutely deal better with presentations.

In the class of Writing, we were asked to write an email from a friend who is having trouble revising for his forthcoming examinations. Here is the email I wrote:

Hi! Thanks so much for your email, it was so good to hear from you. As regards the exams, I´m extremely happy for you, this is a really important period on your life.

As you know, I sat for those exams two years ago and it was a big effort, it took me a lot of time and I really stressed out. I know you are having some difficulties, but don´t worry stay calm because everyone goes through the same situation.

However, I´ll give you some recommendations to study clearly that really helped me. Firstly, you can sum up everything in your own words so it is easy to stay on your mind. Also, as you often tell me, you have a great visual memory, so you can use different colors to do the summaries and trust me that when you are in the exam you will remember everything. Furthermore, in order to manage to cover all the syllabus you really need to manage your time, you must make the best of your leisure time and study all you can. Finally, every time you study you may eat something sweet, trust me, it really helps you.

Well, I know that you are reallt stressed out but stay calm, you will really manage your time. Take my recommendations and trust me, you will pass. Please let me know as soon as you got the mark.

Essay Writing: Fitness and Health

In the Writing class we were asked to write an essay about the importance of fitness and health over the world.

We often hear that nowadays a great quantity of people are dealing with obesity. It is a worldwide disease, every day there are more people getting affected by this ilness. People should be aware of what they eat and introduce exercise on their lives, so as not to deal with the problems this disease brings, such as high blood pressure and heart problems. In addition, goverments should use advertising and education methods to improve health and fitness. 

Firstly, goverments should promote sports and a healthy lifestyle through the media. Nowadays, people are connected to their technological devices all the time so they will clearly get informed. Moreover, if the advertisements are more interested people will be more sympathetic to them. However, it will be very expensive for goverments to do this.

Furthermore, goverments and parents should educate children from a young age on the importance of a healthy lifestyle. Children will implement it all their lives and they will also show it to their sons. Nevertheless, it takes a lot of time to make the kids understand this problem. 

As a conclusion, both methods should be introduced so as in the future this will save many lives and it will help to prevent a great quantity of problems people will suffer, such as health deseases and discrimination. However, I believe the best method is to educate young children because it will be a life long lesson they will never forget.

Essay writing: Private cars in the city centre

In the writing class we were asked to write an essay about the different methods goverments should use to discourage the use of private cars in the city centre.

It is often claimed that people today are polluting the earth by using their cars daily. That´s why people must stop using them and look for other options. In addition, the goverment should use different methods to discourage the use of private cars.

Firstly, the goverment should invest on public transport. People will stop using their private cars, so they will travel in a comfortable way and this invertion will make the city nicer, especially for tourism. However, the goverment will spend a lot of money on this.

Aditionally, people should be educated to stop using their cars as they are contaminating the earth. By getting education, some people will understand the damage they were doing and they will look for other ways of transport. On the other hand, the goverment will spend  lot of money on commercials.

As a conclusion, I believe that the best solution to make people stop using their cars is to invest in public transport.
