Global Implications of Patent Law Variation

By Felicitas Aguirre
In his paper “Global Implications of Patent Law variation," Koji Suzuki (1991) states the lack of consistency in the world's patent laws is in serious problem.
In most of the world, patent ownership is given to the inventor that is first- to- file for a patent. However, the united states maintains a first to invent policy.
In view of this, patent ownership can charge depending on the country. Multiple patent ownership can result in economic problems, however, shrink is the international tension it causes. The conflict is that  the United States  does not recognise patent ownership in other countries. The Paris convention on industrial properties has asked the world intellectual properties organisation (WIPo) to push USA to review the principal of the patents existing.

Travelling to New Orleans...

In LL Writing we had to search information about a place we really like. Then in class we started to write about it and I wrote about the city of New Orleans. We make 3 Drafts and when it was ready we have to publish, here it is:

New Orleans is a beautiful city which is situated in th estate of Louisiana. It is a major United Syated. The city is named alter de Duke of Orleans who reigned as regent for Louis XV. I really love New Orleans; It is famous for it´s cuisine, music (particulary Jazz), and its annual celebrations and festivals, most notably Mardy Gras. The city is often referred to as the “most unique” in the United States. Also, the weather is very good in New Orleans.

It has a subtropical climate and when I went there it was  sunny all the days. What I like the most, is that instead of renting a car, we can walk a lot and you can travel with the street car that it will cost less.

The only thing that I don´t like is that New Orleans is the Voodoo´s city. Also the city is too big to visit in one week, you need a month to do it. When I travelled to river Mississippi by boat I was very excited but it was not what I expected.

In New Orleans you can go to visit many places like going to a ship on top of the Mississippi river as I said before, visiting museums, going to parties and there you can buy many masks of different colours.

New Orleans is my favourite city in United States. There are lots of things to see and do, and there you will have the best time.
